What do we have to offer?
The Technical Consultant position resides in our team in the Netherlands. Step into a role where you’ll collaborate closely with our London-based team and work directly with clients and partners using our cutting-edge Wealth Planning solution. From day one, you’ll be hands-on—supporting our clients (banks and wealth managers), guiding them through API integration for their apps and websites, and helping set up data connections and custom reports. Expect to be the go-to expert for day-to-day questions, offering smart solutions and making sure our software delivers real value. You’ll also lead training sessions that empower our clients to get the most out of our tools.
As a Technical Consultant, you’ll team up with our developers to turn business needs into smart product features. You’ll help drive innovation and make our solution even better. Along the way, you’ll learn how to build financial plans that factor in investment risks, giving you real-world experience. This role is a great launchpad to grow your skills in modeling, analytics, tech, and communication. You’ll enjoy a flexible work setup: split your time between our office, working from home, and occasionally visiting clients in the Netherlands and abroad.

We are the Client Servicing team of OPAL. With currently 6 members (and growing) we are responsible for helping our clients implementing our software. In addition, the following aspects are important:
- You have a master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Econometrics or an exact science
- You have 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of Programming basics, like VBA Excel, Power BI etc.
- Being fluent in English is a requirement, command of the Dutch language is a pre.
