We’re seeking a skilled Compensation & Benefits Specialist to strengthen our global HR team. You’ll play a critical role in developing and implementing competitive pay and benefits programs that support our mission to attract, retain, and engage top talent. This is a hands-on role that demands both strategic insight and the ability to translate policy into practical, impactful solutions for our growing international workforce.
What will you do as a Compensation and Benefits specialist
As our Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you’ll be a key member of a close-knit HR team: an HR Director, three HR Business Partners, two HR Office & Payroll specialists, a Recruitment Assistant, a Coach - and you! We work from our Rotterdam or Amsterdam offices, or remotely.
In this role, you’ll help build and enhance HR practices to support our growth and internationalization. Your analytical skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and energy will help drive our HR initiatives forward.
As Compensation and Benefits specialist, you have the following responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize salary structures and benefits programs across our offices worldwide.
- Coordinate with local providers on healthcare, pensions, insurance, and other benefits.
- Support job evaluation, pay benchmarking, and annual compensation reviews.
- Support international mobility cases.
- Act as key partner to the HR team and Finance, ensuring alignment with global policies and local requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and HR colleagues on all C&B topics.

The salary range is €70k-€84k on yearly basis, depending on your role, competency profile and experience.

In addition, the following aspects are important:
- You have higher Professional/University qualifications and completed relevant studies;
- You have at least 7 years of experience as a general HR advisor and additional experience in compensation and benefits;
- Strong command of English and feeling comfortable and confident working internationally;
- You have strong data skills (Excel/HR systems) and attention to detail;
- Bonus: experience in financial or IT environments, working with highly qualified professionals;
- Bonus: experience designing employment conditions in Commonwealth countries.
